Chris Houk has several decades of Fine Dining and Hospitality experience, beginning in his hometown of San Diego. Since the age of 18, he has worked as a cook, server, bartender, bar manager, restaurant manager, beverage director, and even saw the world as a flight attendant. Working through college and after graduating from San Diego State with a degree in Geography, Chris kept building his experience in all facets of the hospitality industry.
Chris’ life changing bottles were a 1990 Chateau Margaux, and Ardbeg 1977. Since being fortunate to taste them, he realized that he had found his career path, and has been studying wine and spirits (and collecting them) ever since.
Outside of work, Chris can be found hiking, practicing yoga, cooking, playing beach volleyball, and golf. He has visited 10 out of the 19 properties owned by Moet Hennessy so far, with more planned. His next trip is to revisit Ardbeg for the 2022 Feis Ile Festival on Islay.
